I’ma oil your scalp when I tell you this… Retwisting does not cause thinning. Tight twisting does. We’ve made frequent retwisting the enemy but it’s not. Think about it, many people are thinning even with protective styles. So thinning is not a “Loc” thing. The obsession with tight styling is the common denominator. When you reduce tension, you can style as often as you’d like. If you must retwist often, opt for soft twisting. Keep the palm roll rotations as a maximum of 3 rolls. Especially if y
