Mel Newby of Hixson, TN had a problem with the dash of his 1972 Monte Carlo. A previous owner some years prior wanted to upgrade the radio and removed most of the radio towers in the dash to accommodate the new source of sound. In doing so, they made it difficult to return the dash to its former glory to fit a modern, but stock appearing radio correct for the Monte Carlo.
