Writing (orally composing / guided write) As you know I love open ended provision and high quality interaction in provision. Twice a month or so we have an adult guided writing focus….the rest of the time it’s in provision….this term we have been using widgets to help orally compose 5 word phrases and then use this as a support for writing (helping to reduce the cognitive load). The past couple of weeks we have been orally rehearsing and practising a 5 word phrase as part of our winter project.
