Indigenous community members in the Minneapolis area gathered this afternoon at Powwow Grounds to organize and strategize about how to protect the community from the onslaught of Department of Homeland Security agents in the metro area. People spoke of closing down the Native corridor in Minneapolis’s southside, after several community leaders were stopped by ICE officers earlier today.
