Alan Ritchson's War Machine is heavily indebted to John McTiernan's Predator, but it also feels like a prequel to a forgotten sci-fi film from the 2010s.

While titanium construction and handy functions ensure it's more than a grim gimmick, the Predator vibes are delightfully inescapable.
